The sensor of provision of a butterfly valve is shown on fig. 2.244

The sensor of provision of a butterfly valve is established on lateral face of the case of a butterfly valve, the mobile part of the sensor is connected to a butterfly valve axis. The sensor is executed in the form of the variable resistor (potentiometer) which resistance changes depending on the provision of a butterfly valve. When opening zaslonka resistance of the sensor decreases, and at its closing – increases. The control unit submits the engine on the sensor basic tension and measures tension in an alarm chain of the sensor. EBU uses information from the sensor of provision of a butterfly valve for regulation of a corner of an advancing of ignition and duration of injection of fuel. On signals from the sensor of provision of a butterfly valve and the sensor of a mass consumption of EBU air calculates engine loading.
